I am thinking of buying an m6 , does anyone know anything about them , could do with some advice before i go ahead.

Dai Mole from the forum and Rare has one he knows his detectors inside out he,ll be on the Rare bus trip if you fanie picking his brains, he a great guy or you could mail him

I had a lend of Dai,s for half a day was thinking of getting one but i found the meter unreliable but the audio made up for that

Have you had a look at the Fisher F75 or the TecneticsT2 they are getting a massive cult following
I fell in love with my F75 after my 1st outing
They are shooting up in price at the moment but if you shop around you might get a bargin

             I have just sold my M6 , and in my opinion for the money ,its the best all rounder you can get . Simple to use and great on the beach as well . If I could , I would have kept it as a standby machine , but I needed the " readies!"
                 I fitted a S.E.F. 10x 12 coil to it , which enhanced the machines depth ,etc.
