XP Deus

« on: March 01, 2010, 06:52:46 PM »

Just  had a phonecall from the dealer to say they actually have my XP Deus in the shop and will I be in Wednesday to receive it?   (Don't some people ask silly questions???   Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin)

I spoke to the assistant and the owner will be ringing me in the morning to sort out the financial side as they've had my part exchange since the end of November, so all being well I'll be standing behind the front door on Wednesday!

I'll let you all know how I get on...if it comes. I plan to take it to a site nearby that's been rallied on recently to see how it performs.

flippin typical, I'm off grafting in Birmingham and you'll be out playing with another new toy, and without your mate Cry
I hope it was worth the wait (wait, there is no weight, its a Deus Grin).
I bet i know what your taking on Sunday Wink
So no point ringing you for a natter when i'm board out of my skull on Wednesday at the NEC, you'll be too busy playing without me Sad Wink

I'll let you have a look, and if you're really really good, I'll let you hold it (the Deus that is!)  Grin

I cant wait to get some honest feedback on the thing, instead of all the hear say, rumors and sometimes blatant lies that are surrounding the Deus.
I still stand by my first encounter with Mick? the distributor,no party tricks or gimmicks, first impressions it seems a very capable tool, i know there's been some debate about discrimination, but apart from iron, we all mostly search in all metal any way Wink

If all goes well, I'll get it Wed and try and use later the same day.

I'll post a quick review on here later the same day.

I'm happy with the V3 (on interest free it was a great deal) and I got an excellent part
exchange on my Golden Mask 3+ against the Deus otherwise I would have waited.

I've had all the XP range and as a manufacturer the build quality was brilliant. Hopefully the Deus won't be any different.

They're like gold dust in the Uk and reviews are few and far between. It's a lot to spend on a detector but it's what I enjoy and I haven't got any other vices (that I'm admitting too) LOL Grin
