Hi All

I'm new so please excuse me for asking.

If I'm registered with Detecting Wales am I entitled to join the rally tomorrow?  Is it too late to sign up?

Kind regards

Quiet Viking

first question = NO

2nd question = YES, but there's quite a waiting list.

Hope you all have a good day tomorrow, unfortunately I am decorating so won't be coming, just cut my thumb real deep with a wood chisel under the joint, my wife wanted to take me to A&E for stitches, I said on a Saturday night, stuff that I said, I have a slab of Stella in the fridge, and you think I wan't to sit in Hospital for 3-4 hours, no chance, where do women get their logic from? I told her if it's still bleeding tomorrow i'll stitch it myself, after drinking all that Stella I should'nt feel much pain  Grin

Thanks Handyman.  What is the policy then?  Do I have to pay a subscription fee to join the club?  Will I then be able to put my name down for future events?

Kind regards

There is no subscription, QuietViking. You just need to be a member of this site, put your name down when the time comes, and pay at the rally. That's all. Smiley

hi quiet viking...welcome to the forum...unfortunately you are too late to register for this rally, because people have been putting their names on the list for around a week now...there is a cut-off number of 70 and,due to the popularity of DW rallies, that point was reached rather quickly.....there is also a reserve list for people after the 70 mark...they have the chance to fill any vacancies that occur when people have to pull out.....but, now you are a registered member of this forum.and hopefully will come on here and read the posts and join in...you will see when a rally is advertised and be able to put your name down for it....the charge for a rally is normally £6 that is paid when you arrive at the site....i hope to meet you at the next rally....all the best....byron
