You're not wrong there KEV there was a lot of firsts that day for me

It was my first rally ever

I found my first ever spindle whorl

Saw my first ever gold find

Met a lot of DW members for the first time

Saw my first ever hammered

And since then its been the same story , more and more firsts for a lot of people.

First ever , unexploded drinking trough  Cheesy

First Human excrement car park

Dw's first 2 dayer

Heres to another year of firsts  Grin

Thats wild,Its a year this month i bought my first detector, a viking VK40, not a bad tool in fairness, even though it only had about 10 hours use before i went out a bought a Quattro, that was it, hooked and no looking back Smiley I dare not to think how many hours i've spent detecting since, Best the wife doesn't try to work it out either Wink

I was looking at the 1st rally picture at Llansanner the other night, and back then i could name all but a one or two
It was a great ideal of Geoffs to print names badges as it really helped in putting faces to the user names  Grin

Great picture - the vast majority of that crew still attend our rallies as well. I can only see three whom we no longer hear from. That was a great rally to start us all off - thanks go to Altinkum for providing it.

The review of the rally is in the Detectingwales Rallies section if anyone wants to reminisce.
