Went out today for a couple of hours, same place as last time, found my first George III Bull Head Shilling 1817, a bit worn on reverse, but at least i found one. Rob Tafflaff told me only a couple of days ago that i'd get one soon, Thanks Taff mate  Wink

I also found - 1 x George III Farthing - 1773
1 x George III Halfpenny - date unknown
                      1 x George IV  Penny  -  1825
                      1 x QV Halfpenny  -  1888
                      1 x George V  Halfpenny  -  1916
                      2 x Lead bag seals
                      1 x Shoe Buckle ( Brocken )
                      2 x  Large Harness Buckles
                      1 x Button

And last but not least, a mystery object, this is the large object in pic. It originally had a pin through top, which allowed it to swing back and fo.
Would love if anyone could possibly let us know what it is and possible date.

Thanks all

I believe the last picture is a horse brass that either went on top of harness or maybe on side of a cart these free moving items are very decorative probably victorian

The swinging horse brass i found yesterday, i done a little research, it is what you call a " Fly Head Turret ", which would be worn on top of the horses head.
I have put a link to the Horse Brass Society ( in Tips and Tricks ) which shows the exact item.
