Thanks chaps. And thanks for identifying it Neil. I look at loads of pics of jetons yesterday without finding it so you saved me further searches today. You've got quite a memory, being able to remember seeing it in you reference book.  Smiley

Was a nice find Geoff. I have seen the design before, but the odd thing about it was the thickness - maybe three times thicker than most jetons.

My brother found an identical jetton some time back that, like Peters, is much thicker than the average jetton and appears to have a high silver content as its patina and lack of corrosion is not consistent with the average copper type, someone has even tried clipping it!  I'll try and post a pic tomorrow.
