My best find in the UK, identified by the FLO as a clipped Roman Silver Siliqua of Arcasius (383-408)
Clipping these coins was punishable by death.

I say Ken, that was a bit over the top for punishment.  Today even muderers get life and are out in a couple of years. LOL
