Calling all Scan Club Members

Scan Club Badges? Yes or no?
I'm looking into getting some badges for Club members, there some debate about what type or even if there's any point.
I think its good to have some sense of belonging and it may help to raise the club profile a bit.
It looks as though the minimum order would be 50, both my self and Neil can source these so we should be able to keep the costs down.
I'd be grateful if any  Cardiff Scan club Members, be they interested or not, could log in to our web site, go to the "Club Business" section and just put a tick in the poll that i've started.
i'll use this to gauge interest and work out the numbers.

As you know I'm not a Scan club member yet so i hope no one minds me giving my five pence worth lol

Badges and especially cloth badges with a Welsh theme are  great way to bolster the sense of belonging within the club.
very often i get stopped at National rallies when i wear the RARE badge by someone saying " My Granny was from Wales" lol its also a great way of flying the flag for Welsh Detecting clubs in general

Even tho im not a Scan member yet
I vote Yes to badges and dont sell out before i join because i want one  lol

I know I'm sticking my nose in again  lol
But New Rare members get a free lapel badge(i dont know if we got any left)
If your club funds allow what about giving new members a free cloth badge.?
I'm sure once your existing members see the new badges out and about  they,ll want one to ;0)

I think the cloth ones may be too expensive to give away unfortunately, the lapel badges i think are a lot cheaper.
I'm sure if the cost is not prohibitive, we can look at that, i need to suggest it to the committee.
