great day - good to see and speak to everyone today.

4 piccies for you -

  • a general view from the top of the hill looking towards the 2nd severn crossing.
a general piccy of a few of you walking the skyline after lunch, and
some of mr and mrs handyman's finds - neil took a piccy of  a nice medieaval button and i've yet to photograph a roman grot
a small group of taff, kevin and others piecing together 3 seperate finds into one object.... then followed a heated discussion as to who should have the completed object!!

a lovely day - look fwd to the next one -

cheers

I found this yesterday at the rally. Is it a pipe bowl or something else. Any ideas, peeps?
It's a silvery metal with a lip on one side and a ridge running up the opposite side. Sorry for the poor quality pics, camera phone.
Great day out and well done everybody on some fantastic finds
