Musket Balls

After recently finding my first lot of musket balls, i was wondering when these ceased to be used, and what period of time would they have mostly been used in.

well i can't realy tell the size of them from that Aceco,, but what i have got is this,
 From left to right,
 the larger size .
from a Brown Bess,  Circa 1771,
 
 medium,  Civil War period,  1648,

small , 18th to 19th century, military colt,

smaller, commoners pocket pistol, 19/ 20 century.

yours could be medium or small maybe,

They are slightly bigger than a marble Alan..... hey Ace mate a few more and we can melt em down for fishing weights

Tell you what we'll do Doc mate, we'll melt yours to see if they work , that way i get to keep mine whole , only joking butty
