For those who do not know much about the club here is a bit of background. We are a small club based in Llanelli. The club has a capped membership of fifteen this is to make site finding easier, membership fees are £10 per year, members must also have fid or ncmd membership. The club was founded in 1998 and is still going strong today.

The club meet every other monday in the New Dock Stars Rugby Club at 8-00pm.

Members of the club that use the detectingwales.com on a regular basis are myself(detectordave) mickeycoin, stevehammered, zorro, malcolm mtts, beachboy, toolmaker and richard 16.5dd.

Members try to attend as many rallies as posible and also go on club hunts both during the week and on weekends these are both inland and beach/estuary work commitments allowing.

The club hold a coin of the month and artifact of the quarter competion, the winner of the coin of the month for May was Richard with a very nice coin of Edward 4th which was found on a detecting wales rally (it was not rich that lost the hammered) members of the club judge both coin and artifact comps due to the fact that we do not have an flo calling into the club due to a lack of funding.

Although we are only a small club we do quite well with finds these include 3 gold coins 2 fell to steve hammered (jammy sod)and one to mickey coin also a very nice seal matrix found by toolmaker some of you might have seen it on the highbridge rally.

As a club we will be starting to post finds and club news on a regular basis on the site to keep people upto date with what is happening down in our area.
