as a last resort, you can contact Cadw and give either the map coordinats or address, and they will tell you whether the site is scheduled.

The farmer will also have his field system drawn up by the ministry showing all schedule and unschedule monuments.

To be sensible, and this is purely my own opinion, stay at least 100metres away, or if the site is enclosed wihin a fenced field, keep out of it.

I'll check with the farmer then.  Theres plenty of places to detect there without me worrying about the scheduled areas just yet.  I have found out which are scheduled from the links simon c gave me Smiley
