i found this lot today on a new field i think the lizzy is a shilling as it's nearly as big as a cartwheel penny also in the pic is a grotty roman. mike

makes it worth while going out hey,
 i was hoping to get out but got delayed and didn't make it, never mind it got me up the ladder sawing a large branch off one of the trees, and done a few other things,

Cracking coin Mike, well done. It's a Lizzie shilling as you said. The bird mintmark is a martlet, and the coin was minted in 1560-61.
