Apparently there is a shortage of new T2's,so that maybe keeping the price up how old was the one you sold Mark ?.

Its because they are in very short supply. Nigel in Regtons told me as the Main Dealer in the UK,he can`t get hold of his next supply from the USA till March. And besides that, they are a very good detector.

I believe the Libyans are going mad to try and buy them for Gold hunting over there ,and there in very short supply. Some people have obviously heard this too. I couldn`t be bothered going through  the hassle.

I got £595 for mine and it had a SEF coil.  I was pleased with that at the time but heck, they have gone berserk now.

That T2 on eBay has reached £910 with 4 days to go to the end of the auction.

Are people really that desperate to get their hands on a T2?

There's absolutely no way I would pay that much money for a used T2 or a new one come to that.

And like Phil Y said the seller has only got a feedback score of 2 and in both cases she was the buyer.mmmmm Huh

Yes, that feedback thing and the price would kinda worry me too.

I think theres 2 variables at work here
one there in short supply and 2 there seems to be a Large loyal Cult following for the F75 and 2T

When i bought an Explorer about 2 years ago the review on the net where very mixed
But you wont find many negative reviews for the 1st Texas instruments F75 and 2t.

It seems the only complaints are from f75 owners who have Bought a T2 and don't like it for some reason and Visa vera

My 2 complaints with the T2 and the F75 is they're not as tuff as most of the Minelabs ive owned in the past but as long as your not heavy handed its fine
Second complaint, the battery's last so long you can get complacent and forget to check Um lol
