Kev cant get on here until tomorrow, Chef it was on pasture which had been turned into a track by animals and drovers ?  On a crossing point of a stream. Only about 4 inches down. The crotal bell was also on pasture at around 12 - 14 inches down. hope this helps.

Nick when I checked Spinks I was sure of it being Edward iii  but if you look at the consecutive quarter nobles they all look alike.
