went out to day to chepstow ground was rock hard so sat down and had a fag and a cup of tea then of i went after about half hour a little roman brooch came out ground getting softer now a few buttons and then a silver william sixpence happy with that one  Smiley a few more targets and then a half cut hammie and on the way back to the car a silver sixpence came out 1926 i think not a bad day to start 2010 off  Wink i will post pics later

Blooming heck!.............you're off to a flying start!!  Leave some in the ground for us...  Grin

I had a couple of hours out, locally, and had a spindle whorl, lead counter and a 1942 silver sixpence.

My toes are still cold and I've been home an hour. I bought some -30 Artic wellies but was sent the wrong size so had to send 'em back for size 9 instead of the 10.5.   I could have done with them today!!!!

I'm back out tomorrow for a few hours more punishment. Cry
