went out this am with MELONHEAD, went to one of my farms,  no1 snow on the fields,went to no2 snow on the fields no 3 ok so we started off and straight away MELONHEAD finds a  1919 threepence good condition as well, hard going very cold as well we did find a few copper coins as well,  i did find a little spindle whorl also  i found what i think but hope someone can id this sort of mount ? it looks like a large button but its not  i have put the front and back on here of it???, hope MELONHEAD put on a photo of his threepence he found later ! Wink

Nice finds Kev,the Mount looks very much like it could be a harness mount,poss 17th-18th century
