be careful guys n gals.

the thread is about the execution and the principles around that. don't let it degenerate into areas around cultures, nationalities race etc. keep to debating the principles of the death penalty and there is no problem.

take the debate into other contentious areas and the thread may have to be locked.

one must be careful about what one writes on a public website, where anyone can read it.

i would urge you to get back to debating politely and avoid using the aggressive language. there is much to be debated -  the pros andcons, but it must be done with a sense of respect for each others point of view, so keep it polite and respectful please, i'd rather the debate continue sensibly...

I've spent many years on internet forums and the advice I would give to you all is BE CAREFUL! Discussions like this may seem fine to start off with, but they can quickly degenerate into bickering and even outright slanging matches. Over the years, I've seen many friendships damaged or even destroyed because of hot topics like this. Just be careful.
