The missus 1st day out & finds gold

Went out todat to my local patch.  Took the missus along with my fathers old C-Scope (this was her 1st time detecting on her own).  First find of the day went to Joanne with a 9ct Gold Wishbone Ring      Heres what we came away with after a few hours:

LOL Karl, what made it worse was it was my T2 vs her old C-Scope CS660, just goes to show sometimes its where you swing it not how you swing it

Well done Simon and to get a sympathetic partner as well has got to be good. Ain,t it just the way though, first time out shows you up. Showed my daughter how to use a detector at the end of summer as she had asked me a hundred times so I took her into our field which I thought was going to offer a nail or two. Wrong first two signals Georgian coins. I have since tried to get her back out but she is not interested. Oh Well.

Thx for all you comments - i was really chuffed with the find - and it fit's me !!  I'm hoping to get a t2 soon and join Cardiff Scan Club - but i'll stick with the c-scope for now and maybe i'll find a horde tomorrow!!  lol.

Good choice of machine the T2
ive got the Fisher F75 its a similar machine made by the some company.
Ive been trying to get my wife interested in detecting  for year.
But shes got a phobia of worms lol

nothing worse than driving home and the wife has found more than you, All you get all the way home is "I found more than you" repeat this for about an hour and you have an idea lol. Fortunately it dosnt happen often
