i found this at the end of the day today,
its one and a half inches long, and 1 inch wide at the top,
i'm wondering if its a brass horse harness decoration, Huh?  or even furniture decoration
there looks to be a part broken off the top

Hello Richy.
I asked Mark Lodwick tonight, he said its modernish,  and thinks its what i said,   maybe a bit of brass furniture or horse harness strap decoration.
