Hi Peter, have you any idea which Edward my find from Sunday is. I can make out
it,s the London mint, but the strange thing is that the Edward is on the left side of
the coin. All my Spinks illustrations show Edwards name on the right.I thought it was
Edward 1st. but now am unsure. Could you clear this up for me please?
Otherwise,I,ll have to show it to Edward Besley at the next Club meeting.
                                                             Thanks, STAN     Huh Huh Huh

It was a nice find Stan, well done. I think it reads from the right, after the initial mark (cross):  EDW R ? ANGL DNS hYB. I agree that it is London mint and probably Edward I. What is the diameter in millimetres? I thought it looked a little small for a penny and possibly a halfpenny?

Hi Peter, it,s a little clipped but it,s 17mm. Re- the lettering,my mistake. Must be
old age creeping up.  Thanks, STAN
