Its with sadness that i have to share this sad news with you.
Dennis  from Newbridge Court Trallwn Pontypridd Past away at The Royal Glamorgan Hospital on the 1st of December 2009
Dennis was a passionate Detectorist and collector and a loyal friend to our very own Des Thomas aka Kane.
I was lucky enough to go detecting with Dennis once and even with his health problems he was an inspiration

Some older RARE members may remember Dennis
Is resent years due to i,ll health Dennis hadn't been able to enjoy the hobby he loved so much

Rest in peace Dennis

Will do Rob

For Dereks family i printed out all the members Comments and put them in a card.
I know his widow took comfort from this knowing so many people took the time to write something nice about a fellow Detectorist

all the best
Phil

Any loss is sad but also a loss to the detecting community. Never met Dennis but have met Des a few times at DW rallies  and have enjoyed this company immensely. Condolences to the family and sympathy to friends.

the passing away of any human being is always a very sad situation, particularly at this supposedly 'happy time of year'.

i too send my condolences to the family, but would hope that they find time to reflect on the good times and the many wonderful moments that they all had together.

the knowledge and inspiration has been succesfully passed onto the next generation of detectorists, for which we are all eternally grateful.
