Hi everyone, thought you might like to see these two medieval artefacts I found recently.  The first artefact is a thimble c mid 14th C and the second is a shield shaped harness pendant probably 14th C also.  Despite my best endevours I didn't find any hammered with them but I'll be going back soon to clean up.  Fingers crossed  Grin

Nice finds Mark - theres more there mate. I have tried to locate the family of the Heraldic Harness Pendent but to no avail! How come you and Johnny seem to find these when we are out - I never get a sniff of one!

Some info below for you from Bennetts and Mills's respective books. The bottom left is the closest I can find to yours.
