out today quick as you dig the hole it fills with water cant wait for a dry sunday whens this rain going to stop? heres a pic of johnny thomas from rare eating a soggy sandwich and a water logged field

Well what a dedicated bunch you are. Today is the first rainless day I have had for two weeks and the ground is absolutely saturated. Will hope to get out next weekend but the forecast is not that good with one of my farms that I passed today approximately 80% underwater. Really could do with a dry spell now.

all I will say is that you guys are dedicated, I must be getting old or something, would rather be reading about detecting with a glass of the red stuff, than being out there digging in that mud and rain Smiley

 Wink yes yesterday myself and MELONHEAD & DIG IT meet up at 9-30am it was poring down got to farm nr abergavenny at 10am yes it stopped raining we detected till 12 and it started with a few little showers then around 1pm it got heavier and heavier and as we dug the water just filled the holes back up, thats what detecting is all about  Grin Grin Grin Grin by 2pm we packed up it was poring down by then.........but we enjoyed our few hours out Wink

Went out 3 times since last Wednesday rained very hard each day who cares about a bit of rain your skins water proof.
