best find coat hanger  worst find a piece of coke. joking aside i've had a few lizzies from the surrounding field's so there should be a few hammered to be found but as most people know it's pot luck on the day. i think a few interesting bit's and bob's will surface or i would'nt have bothered finding the land for our first rally.  nervous mike Cry

Why nervous Mike? Dunno about anyone else but don't really mind if I don't find anything, it's a day out with people of the same ilk that won't get bored when you talk about detecting, and of course the chance to meet all of the different characters from the forum.
Everybody appreciates your efforts and generosity I'm sure. It'll be a great day the weather is going to be with us (apparently)  Smiley (p.s. change worst find to one of Mike's old sandwiches)

At the last rally I dug up a crackin' pair of pliers, rusted solid. I believe them to be mid to late steel age. Wink
