hi. Currently i use the exellent T2 but i am  looking for another light powerful detector. I read about the goldenmask 3  and 3+ and like the sound of it, or possibly a xp goldmaxx power, Have any of you chaps used both of these and how do they compare against eachother. Tell me the good and bad points please .

Mark,i have been using a T2 for the last 2 1/2 years and a Goldmax power for the last year, although the goldmax has its good points you won't gain much more than you have with the T2.Of the two machines the T2 is in my opinion the better general allround detector, but it depends what you want to use the GMP for,it's recovery speed is a bit faster than the T2's so it is a bit better for iron sites, the T2 is deeper. To be fair they are both great machines in the right situation, but personally I'd wait and see what the reports on the new T2 limited edition's are like it might be that the new T2 will be just that bit better ?.Hope this is of use  Smiley
