Hi all, well myself and beachboy have just come back from 2 hard weeks of drinking beer watching a Tenerifian council worker drive a sand-sifting tractor along a busy beach and making a killing in euro's and jewellery. Shocked
anyone know the law re: detecting on Tenerife's beaches Huh?
I did find a silver braclet whilst snorkeling around the breakwater tho.it is heavy but not 100% sure its silver will hve to clean it up first.
if we had detectors we'd still be out there im sure.
hope all the problems and arguments have been sorted that were rife a couple of weeks ago and we can all get back to what we really care about...'tecting.
any major goings on that i might have missed?
i see that there is a rally sorted out for sunday, well done the lads !
unfortunatley i cant make it. but hope to catch up with you all in person soon.
good luck to all going to the rally and hope the finds are as good as last time....take care

There is also rally for detectorists in I attend make totaly legal here under licence same as the Uk

mick me and dad were watching the guy with the tractor cleaning up the beaches at 07.30. the grill at the back was supposed to be for cigarette butts and paper but i bet he's the highest paid council worker in tenerife. he certainly spent enough time cleaning out the grill each day.
