Ok I know this is going to be something like part of an engine chassis but i got to ask. Its quite a light metal,  and the button just any thoughts on how new or old it is . And a bullet

Sorry, can't ID the first bit and not sure about the button. The bullet probably is a.303.

Can you try cropping your scans a bit so we can see more detail on the find itself?

hi, the first item looks like part of a timing band from a large shell head, most likley ww ii.
