 Grin this is the picnic area FARMER PHIL was on about with MELONHEADS chairs he brought  Cheesy also Farmer Phil  at work ,and a bit of the countryside as well Wink

as MARK (melonhead) won the day last sunday ,here are my finds not much but can you tell me if the one is a metal part of a riding boot Huh?? Huh and the star type thing is a spur Huh Huh Wink  also on here part of a buckle Wink

Thats definately a broken spur Kev - its not modern either.

I found one with a deep green patina once and showed it to a few guys at a SCAN meeting who were all sure it had an age to it. Took it with James (off DW) to show Mark he looked at and said "It was made in England!"

I said "How do you know that?"

He replied because "It says MADE IN ENGLAND by there" and proceeded to point to the stamp making it very modern. Grin

I felt a right fool and so did James! Wink
