It's a superb book Rob - the Scan Club bought 5 or 6 of them off the web last year, and we gave them away as raffle prizes on club night.  I bought one for myself - it's great to dip in and out of.  I wouldn't mind owning a country retreat like Bill with all that land to detect on.  I would only have to walk out of the door.  How good is that  Cheesy Cheesy

I didn' t bother doing much detecting on holiday in Eastbourne cos the beach was too pebbley. Then when I got home I read in the book that three gold staters had been found by the pier......DOH !!!!

Very interesting book

Its an outstanding book Rob - I have been telling you for months that you would absolutely love it. A few of DetectingWales members feature in it including our very own 1MoreCoin!

You are going to love reading it mate - in fact I am going to start reading mine again.

I heard a whisper on another site that he plans on doing a second one.

Cheers

True,I went to Waterstones about a year ago and asked the assistant if she had a copy of Treasure Islands in stock....
Before I could say anything else she replied "No but we have Kidnapped by the same author"

Hi All, sorry to resurrect this thread but I was in the local "the works" discount book shop today and bought the last 2 copy's of Bill Wymans book they had at £1.99 each so if you live near a "The Works" shop it may be worth popping in and asking.

I'm not sure how long they have had them, I read that they were on sale on detectorist.co.uk and went in to the local branch and asked, the guy there said they had had them, luckily his colleague was listening and said they still had them. So you may need to ring around.
