Not sure Phil, e-mail Dave the chairman he's very helpful. I was a member there coming up to 3 years ago when I first started detecting, at that time they was'nt having many rallies, and I did'nt have my own land then, so I joined CSC for the chance of regular club rallies, SMC may have changed now.  Smiley

Phil,   I was talking to a few of the members yesterday, they have plenty of land now and have regular rallies, they even have land in the Vale.

Regards,

Steve.

Have any of your members found anything at Morfa Buchan Bay
We was very disappointed when we was there last Summer its a really beautiful place to.
Just found lead fishing weights
I know Alan ThePastfinders been lucky there in the past
I did hear it was use by the navy ww2 for gunnery Practice but couldnt find any remains

Hi Phil.

I have done numerous beaches along that coast over the years, but never Morfa Bychan.
Only found modern coinage and the odd bit of jewellery.
Have not heard any of the other members speak about going there.

The 25 members on the internet have already been informed of 'DetectorWales.com'
I will let the rest know of this new site at the next club meeting.
Regards
Dave.

Hi Gandolf

Dave hughes Swansea Club sec as kindly offered to bring this subject up at the next Club meeting .
so i know as much as you really.
RARE Doesnt have a one club rule so members are fre to go where they like, its just unfortunate most of our members are with clubs over the Bridge
I know Cardiff are very strict when it comes to this issue.

As far as i can see it (you May have other views) From the clubs point of view the worst thing that can happen is a Members pays his years fees and never seen again !

The best out come would be a new member prefer his 2nd choice of club and become an active Club member .
I think it would raise everyones game!

all the best

Hi Phil.

At our Club meeting on the 19th. It was decided that we will not have a 'One Club Rule.'
But conditions were imposed...I will send you an email in due course with a copy of our
revised and updated Club Rules.
