Hi all  Wink , I've only been detecting for a couple of months, mainly on local beaches, so i don't have any good finds to show off at moment.
After buying a Garrett ace 150 and finding modern coinage on the beach, i was hooked.
Permission for farm land has been a nightmare, i get told no everytime Cry, very danting as i would love to expand from beaches to land, just to find some old coins etc. Any Ideas Huh
Living in Bridgend , South Wales, i can not find a local club, so if anyone wants a detecting partner in the Bridgend area, drop me a line. Smiley
Good Hunting to you all,  Paul.

The old coins ive been finding so far mate have been in swing parks and along public footpaths.

Morning Paul - welcome to the site.

You'll get the break eventually regarding farms. Try asking all your friends and family if they know anyone who owns a farm, pastures, stables or just have an acre size garden. If that fails try workmates or make a farmers pub your local. You'll soon find somewhere. If all else fails the door knocking will eventually get you a yes mate

cheers
