Amazingly, considering the circumstances, they were found Not Guilty  Huh

In my opinion they should have been found guilty !

If the detecting hobby is to survive for future generations. We all must have permission to detect on land from the land owner first !

Its like the court has given a green light to night hawking, well if i get caught just say,
you didnt give me time to report the finds !

This time of year I am often out in the dark detecting, with head lamps etc, but always
on ground i have permission to detect on and i always make sure the landowners knows I am about !

This is an absurd judgement  Angry

uhhhh  HuhHuh?   thats strange how they got away with that Huh??

they didn't have permission either,  so they should be done for trepasss as well
i jolly well hope they don't get the reward either, blimey,  they seem to be rewarding criminals these days,  as they didn't have permission they are not entitiled to it, the landowner should have it all,   and the detectorists locked up, fined and their equippment confiscated
