hi  kev,  yes i was in the pub called the "CRAB TREE"  in hemelhempstead, i was in my army cadet force uniform at the time, a ripe old age of 14 and a bit, it was a pint of bitter at a cost of 1/-&1penny, or 13p intodays money    mick Grin Grin Grin

after 4 years of searching i found a  lizzy 1st halfgroat in nice condition , found on a well worn path in local woods,  Made it in to a necklace for the mrs.
