I was asking my daughter and her partner whether they had seen any of the new shield 20p coins without the date on, Dan (her partner) said "without a date, yeah me and dad put one in a wall yesterday",
it's an age old builders thing putting coins or other objects in walls etc; to be found in the future.
Dad had asked for some coins Dan said this one hasn't got a date on, dad said oh that will do and stuck it in some of the muck in the wall.
It has now been plaster boarded over!!
Told Dan that the last one I saw on e-bay made £127 didn't believe me so I had to show him.
Dan said !"£$%^& "£$%^& .
I am trying to persuade him that it would probably cost as much to dig it back out.
