Ok after much debate and negotiation it has finally been agreed that the weather for the rally is going to be fine with nice Sunny spells. I've managed to talk him into bringing the rain forward to Friday.

Well done Rob and I hope you have asked the farmer to take down all wire fences so that you can cross into other fields safely and without going "bump"..... LOL

with the prospect of a slight sprinkling of the wet stuff, how essential is a box cover for the tector Huh are the boxes sealed or would a clear polythene bag do the trick Huh

Always wise to protect your control box from the rain even if it happens to be waterproof because even they can eventually allow rain in if the box has had a bang or similar.

Keep a large zip seal freezer bag in your pocket fella if it starts raining easy to put on and see your screen. (if you need to)

We got a nice firm pasture field with a concrete road running along it. Easy parking, and one of the fields we are detecting on is where we're parking as well , so  switch on and go.

Rob do the number 30 stop outside the field,, if so what are the times from Cardiff and back to Cardiff,   it will be handy for my pension bus pass.
