Not so much of it normally though! Went out to a rape field that I haven't detected on before , the sheep have eaten some of it so good for detecting. Thought it would be interesting for others to see, coke was coming up good at depth but not so once it hit the surface (did dig two other pieces, and two pieces of iron Embarrassed) . Anyway someone else has been detecting this farm for some time doesn't look like they have been on this field so hopefully there may be some nice finds on it!
Always something comes up that you are not expecting anyone know anything about the 65 Saskatchewan overseas regiment? I think it is the only thing the farmer will show any interest in.

wow,  what a lot youv'e got,  lol loads of buttons, but there a good sign that there has been human activity there hey,  a couple of nice weights and a hat pin too .
 but at least thats better  for now, than getting no signlas at all me finks,  could be better stuff there somewhere.

Good day's detecting there Steve,could be an old house site,i have a couple of sites that produce similar finds,was there a lot of iron there,could be some nice finds near by,the millitary badge sounds Canadian or American ?. Smiley

Busy day that steve !

It never ceases to amaze me how things like a Canadian army badge end up in the british countyside.

I know we had canadian troops temporarlly stationed in this valley (Cynon) WW2

Amazing whats around init  !
