Nice one Steve - I am glad Admin has been in touch and thank you again for such a kind gesture - its what this website is about and speaks volumes about its members. I can't make tomorrow, but I'm sure Geoff will update me over the weekend.

Millsy - its coming mate just be patient and we will have an announcement shortly courtesy of Steve!

Who would have thought that in less than a year we would be about to announce our tenth rally? Its you lot that make it happen.

cheers one and all
Neil

Millsy believe it or not these finds came from either heavily detected sites or quiet pasture fields, I am just very relaxed when detecting and will go back again and again to the same fields even if I find nothing for a couple of visits, I work very slow and keep hoping that something is left in the ground, the truth is that other people have researched these sites as much as we have but have normally got to the sites before we have, but my theory is they might have had a lot of the goodies but they have had most of the rubbish aswell, and the real old interesting and valuable finds are still there but deeper, always remember the machines are getting deeper and more sensitive all the time, a fields never cleared out afterall.

I must admit I was thinking of packing it all in, 3 kids, doing an OU Degree and work, I have very little time left, but Detecting Wales has given me the push to get back into the hobby, So I must thank everyone who is involved in the running of this wonderfull website and organising the Rallies, and also the guys at the BBQ the other weekend your a great bunch and I can't wait for the next one.
