Hi Richy,

It was laying on top of the sand, my wife found it as we walked back to the car.
She has the eyes of an eagle. Grin

Some nice beach finds there  Grin

Where did you Detect to ?
When ive detected on Newton beach ive found loads of them there was a ww2 firing range in the dunes behind the beach
The firing ranges were filled in years ago pity coz they was something to see even in the 1980,s

Rob, We spent a few days at Brean last summer and the wife brought the dog to the beach with us, while I was putting my tector together she picked up a pound coin lying in the sand. She walked the dog and came back a short while later with another 3 pound coins, apparently the dog was scratching around a half eaten sandwich that somebody had dumped and unearthed the other 3 coins. Luckily I  found £6.45 or I would never have heard the end of it!
