hi i am new here, have been tecting for about 5 years, and i would love to find some roman stuff but can anyone tell me if their was much roman activity in pembs as it is well documented that they were in carmarthen, i live not far from haverfordwest so any info on that sort of area would be very helpful thanks.

hi lurker welcome to detectingwales.com you can get a lot of info on here and the members will always help if they can so as for the roman stuff in your area someone will give you the help you need  Wink

Yeah, i'm a member. Have you tried recently? As for Roman finds in west wales .. they do exist but not as plentiful as other areas. Have heard of roman coins being found off goodwick beach, also st.davids (they had a staion there). I've not had any in 7 years detecting although plenty of hammered Wink
