Does anyone use a Laser Rapier and if so, how do you "Honestly" rate it?

My wifes been told that they are very good machines & as she's finding my spare MXT a little heavy I'm looking to buy a second hand one.

Will this be a good move?

Your thoughts please

I,ve owned a laser rapier and a rapier plus also a trident 2 these are all lightweight easy to use machines Ithink the trident as the edge on depth and sensitivity to small hammered costs more new though out of the two lasers the plus is slightly lighter due to the web coil but more prone to ground mineralised ground the older model as a polo coil which is better on bad ground thats why I prefer polos to webs and just as deep as the plus ;)these machines are considered toys by some they know nothing Grin wish I,d kept the trident no doubt the missus will get great satisfaction and results using any of the above on the subject of the laser hawkeye my brother has one besides five other machines including the rapier plus I sold him we where out detecting last year he was using the hawkeye and I was using my laser powermax 2 he had an iffy signal he was about to leave it in the ground until I put the powermax over it and told him to dig it was asmall non ferrous object Huh Grin
