HAS ANYONE ELSEFOUND AN UNUSUAL HOARD???

Went out last sunday with the old explorer 11 on some commonland about three hours into my search I recieved a great signal or should I say signals covering an area six foot square starting digging  out popped a ship halfpenny from 1964 which had be partially filed away  a few minutes and a lot of digging  later I had eighteen in total  apparently they were used years ago for the old slot gas meters when people ran out of money they were a substitute for shillings  until the gasman called never mind next gold staters

hi found three bags of half pences and give two away, kept one for myself

20 squashed and flattened old pennies and halfpennies in a field by an old coal train line up Garndiffaith. Apparently the kids put the coins on the line and the trains ran over them and flattened them. Showed my dad them and he told me what they were. Strangely one or more of them may have been his from decades earlier. Someone must have found some and buried them. Weird.

yes in my local wood not long ago i found 145 brass  fruit machine tokens, it took over a hour for me and shungav to get them all, We were near a pub so maybe they were stolen from their place,..
