Hi Stig.
Sorry to hear that didn't have any success with Neil and Digga in the area that was productive on Sunday, I did say to Digga that it would be well worth another search in that area as I felt I could not have found them all. I don't think I agree with Neil that they could have been a purse loss as they were too well spread apart and at the moment I have no idea what period the gold item is from, but it looks about the diameter of a half angel but is only a guess of course. If Digga has permission on the other side of the srteam over the little bridge I would certainly give that a go.

JUST READ YOUR POST NEIL ,,,,  I DID  TEST  THE GARRETT 250  ON A HAMMERED,, I PUT IT IN A PLASTIC BAG ,,, BURRIED IT IN THE GARDEN TO TEST IT  AND IT  FOUND IT  UPTO  6 INCHES ,,,,,,,,,,,  I TOO  AM POSSITIVE  THERE  ARE  LOTS  MORE IN THE AREA WHERE PAT GOT HIS FROM  AS THRE WAS  A MEDIEVAL  VILLAGE  ON THAT VERY SITE,  I HAVE  SOUL  PERMISSION  FOR THAT  ENTIRE  AREA   ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,   TELL YA  WHAT I CAN  DO  BUD ,,,,, YOU  BUY ME AN   E TRAC   AND I WILL SHARE  THE  SOUL  USE OF THE LAND    Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin  WAAAAAAAAAAA Wink Wink Wink

Sorry its taken so long and the quality is poor but heres my first coin, a vicky silver three pence, a small button and the other is up for suggestions. possibly a spear head???

That is definitely a Arrow head mate. Medieval I would say and a great little find.

Hi All,Sorry I'm a bit late saying thank you for a great day,but better late than never!Some really nice finds on the day,I had two viccy 3ds and some coppers.Fabulous to see Pats gold!
