I've posted Phils amazing buckle on another detecting web site to see if any more light can be shed on it. Before anyone asks Phil gave me his permission.

yes neil you could say that by the way done a lot of homework on it today and came up with very late roman early saxon if it is dark ages i think more rare than roman dont know for sure but it is late romano Smiley
