I found this Hammered today & for some reason I don't think it's an Edward, nor do I think it's from the City of London mint!

I also found this, it did have a small threaded pin inside which broke off so I reckon it could be a furniture fitting of some sort..

hi botty , sorry mate but it is a edward 111 minted in durham, if you look at the top of the coin to the right you will see a cross next right is a e then a d which is followed by a w a making it a edward hope it helps mate
