Today's party / ralley

 Well i think most enjoyed their day out today ,   even though the rain came in later,  i bet the forum members are glad they switched their ralley because of ours now  lol.
  Loads and loads of nice delicouse food was laid on and accompliments too.  even wine and ale, hic  hic,

 I myself found 14 tokens which 4  were called out,  my prizes were , :-
A Maz Finds Bag, A Maz detector  bag,. an electric toasted sandwich maker and a childs explorer  hand held detector.

 I realy enjoyed my day out,

Glad you had a brill day Al. Thats what its all about. Just a pity you did not get a decent days weather but apparently Geoff (admin) books that well in advance.

hi al i was going to call over the rally site as it's about a mile from my house but decided against it when the heavens opened about noon. glad you all had a good day dispite the summer weather and if you want to sell you finds bag give me a shout as i'm after one.  mike

Not only do you get to spend a day out persuing your hobby,you get fed and watered and win prizes too.

 Thanks Paul,  lol , yeah,  we'll have to remember to book early next time,  well we did, and sunshine for was forcast all week,  the bliddy cheque must have bounced lol,

 Mike,  i need it for my second detector mate,  sorry,  i did draw another one just after that one, but swapped it for another ticket then and got the toaster,  lol

arrr sorry Mike,  ive just noticed you said finds bag sorry,  lol ,   i accidently ripped mine right down  the side, as i was putting it on today , its about 35 years old, i used to use it as a money bag at Bessamer rd market years ago, its gone a bit ripe now i think,  i did have another one, lent it to some one  for a ralley,and didn't get it back

 had a greet day bit wet but really worth it great food  and maz on the BQ what  a cook and i won a pair of maz headphones in the raffle fantastic

Yip , great day out , couldnt get down until late kids and wife got lurgey. Enjoyed the company though, everyone had a great laugh, Maz is a legend on the BBQ!

i was late getting there....doh... ..most of the tokens had been found by then..but i did manage to find ONE !!..unfortunately, i did'nt win any prize with my one ticket.... ...but the food and atmosphere were terrific...it takes more than rain to dampen our spirits !! ...well done and thanks to all who put in the effort with the BBQ etc.....byron

O.K. Mike,  cheers mate,  they came out just at the right time for me,

i would have gone on to do more detecting on other fields but decided to pack it in after the prize presentations cos the rain was still heavey and i'd had a good day,
  would have liked to have won one of  the 3 or 4 sets of Maz Big Blue Headphones though,  lol ,   never mind.
