something not right there kev tell me if im wrong 4 feet there is no plough that go,s that deep wat 48ins the deepist they go is 12ins on spuds and then you got pan ploughing which is a bit more 16ins at best and a number of shineing things came up on his detector what detector does he use never  Huh some not ringing true there what do you guys think Huh

A slight exaggeration i would think, usually with a hoard of coins the clue is in the top few that have been pulled up by the plough, and as stated the plough doesn't go down that deep!

Yeah guys 4 feet down ummmmm. Correct me if I am wrong but the bulk of ploughing is down to about 9 ins and potatoes down to about12 - 14 inches. 4 feet is 48 inches.  Nice hoard though and in very good condition. Would not complain for just a few of them.

Yes bit of exageration going on there,proberly half that depth,and he must have found a few scattered coins leading him deeper to the main hoard,nice find though well done to him  Smiley
