found a nice gold diamond ring yesterday with 3 diamonds in. sadly it broke in pieces at home after i nearly dropped it and grabbed it a little too tight. anyway i was wondering how to test the quality of the diamonds. ive heard of a diamond tester but never seen one, also others use a looking glass on the diamonds...what do you look for through the glass as signs of a good/bad diamond?  Huh

I was once told by a jeweler that if you hold the diamond on one of your lips, a real diamond will feel cool and a fake will feel warm. Lips are the most temperature sensitive parts of the body.

If you want to risk it try scrapping
it across a piece of glass real diamond will score the glass
