out today looking for new sites did get two new farms the first one the farmer mr pike told me that a glos club do go on there so not to tread on anyones toes i gave it a miss the second one mrs tovey said no one as ever been on her land so i give it a go glad i did finds of the day 3 hammerd 4 milled silver a good few roman coins to much stuff to list ground was to hard to dig foot rely soar now cant wait for the winter to do this site i smell gold coins  Shocked will post pics tommrow Wink

yes neil only one denari a few bronzes its cos a major roman road runs straight through the fields its call ocall street or something like that the silver thing in the last pic on the back of it is a loop and a hookie thing ???this will be a good site regards phil

Lots of nice finds there Phil, and a good variety of ages too  Smiley.   Well done on getting the site, I never have much luck finding new sites across the border as every farm I knock seems to have an incumbent detectorist.  Sad
