These 3 finds  i found a few yrs ago a pipe tamper of britania and a vesta case which i am very fond of i have a number of vesta cases that i have found but this one has been crudley made it seems someone took time out to make it i have a picture of a badge with a crown on it this is the write up on it that i had back off Mark Lodwick about the badge .Crown or coronet,does,appear to have been originally fitted with a form of attachment and as ,you surmise is likely to have been worn as a badge.The domestic of an aristocratic family would most likely wear such a badge as part of their livery.The coronet resembles that of the Talbot family ,Earls of Shrewsbury.
